Blood Pressure Diary: Log keeps what you enter on your device. There is no account, no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded.

What the app stores, and where

Everything below is written to storage on your device and stays there:

• The readings you type in: systolic, diastolic, pulse, the date and time, any tags and any note.
• Your settings: which guideline you chose, your reminders, and the name you want printed on the report.

This data is not sent to me or to anyone else. It is included in your iPhone backup if you have backups turned on, which is a copy you control through Apple, not through me.

What I collect

None of your health data. There is no server on my side holding your readings, because there is no server: what you type stays on your phone.

There is no advertising and no tracking. Nothing you enter is used to build a profile of you, sold, or shared with anyone.

The one thing that does leave the phone is subscription information, and only if you subscribe. RevenueCat, the service that checks with Apple whether a subscription is active, receives a random identifier the app generates and the receipt Apple issues. It also records that a price screen was shown, so I can tell how many people were offered the subscription rather than only how many bought it. That is the whole extent of it, it is not tied to your name or your Apple account, and no reading, date or note is ever included.

RevenueCat processes this in the United States. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy. They are the only third party the app talks to at all.

If you subscribe

Payment is handled by Apple. I never see your card, your name or your Apple account. To check whether a subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a service that talks to Apple on my behalf. RevenueCat receives a random identifier the app generates, and the purchase receipt Apple issues. It receives none of your data.

You can cancel at any time in the Settings app on your iPhone, under your Apple account. Cancelling leaves everything you have entered untouched.

Apple Health

This version does not read from or write to Apple Health, and does not ask for permission to.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

Deleting your data

Delete a single entry by pressing and holding it in History. Delete everything at once in Settings, under Your data. Deleting the app removes all of it from the device.

Your rights

Data protection law, including the GDPR, gives you the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data. Because that data never leaves your device, you exercise those rights directly in the app: you can read it, edit it, export it to CSV, and delete it, without asking anyone. I hold no copy to hand over or erase.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the version linked from the App Store listing is updated at the same time.
